Soooooooo. I'm taking this sculpture class and right now we are carving wood. I figured out I suck at it. But! But! But! I figured out a wacky way to make a creative project never seen in the class before that doesn't require mad carving skillz. Basically I made a giant anime style sword out of a piece of my ceiling and a broken bamboo sword for the handle. Made a guard for it. Now I need to make a stand for it. Soooooo... I'm making a dragon stand that goes up along the side of the sword and grips the top of it in its mouth. I'll use part of a tree, bamboo for the tail, and bark for the scales, branches for the horns. Should turn out interesting I'll post it when I'm finished.

I'm almost done painting my soi fon sculpture and will be posting her any day now. (as soon as I get time to sit down and paint)......

So I'm taking a sculpture class and a 3d design/sculpting class. as well as a art history class and govt this semester. Seems cool. Ill be doing things outside of my comfort zone. Using the subtractive process with wood, plaster etc as well as using metal and wax. I will probably post some of my stuff on here but depending on how it turns out it will either be a deviation or go into my scraps. I plan on making an ocarina out of wood and see if I can get it to actually work! well thats it for now.

I will be posting more things soon. I have several active projects in the works along with a completed soi fon who needs to be painted.
